If a computer begins to run slow or it comes up with strange error messages, there’s a good chance that something is badly wrong. Spyware is also known to impact ActiveX controls. Its ability to cause problems and slowdowns with ActiveX controls is one of the more dangerous aspects of spyware.

Fixing spyware is easy for users, but it becomes a nuisance after a while. While there are certainly worse things that can happen to a computer, spyware is one thing that can affect a user personally. With identity theft on the rise in this country, it is important to stay protected from folks who might want to steal personal and sensitive information.
